Geek.Kon is an anime related convention that will be held in Madison Marriott West, Wisconsin from September 3 to September 5 this year. It is a big celebration for anime and cosplay costumes enthusiasts. Anime fans are expecting to lead a wonderful weekend there. They can play games, attend competitions and make fine deals there. There can also show off their outlandish images by wearing various cosplay costumes.
The distinguished guests that will appear on the convention include actors, comic artists, game designers and musicians such as Christopher Ayres, Bill Bodden, Matt Forbeck, Jim Frenkel, John Kovalic, Matt M Mcelroy, Aaron Pavao, Raven Software, Eric Vale, Monica Valentinelli. Fans may be expected to look at them and may have photos taken with them.
The convention is a place for anime fans to communicate with each other and for cosplay costumes fans to appreciate the art and the cosplay fashion. They may get some inspirations from one another. They may also make some friends there.
The events include Anime Screening, AMV Contest, Guest Panels, Workshops, Dance, Video Gaming, Collectable Card Games, Role Playing Games, Autographs, Dealers’ Room, Game Shows, Artists’ Alley, Hall Cosplay and Cosplay Competition where you can compete for your conspicuous cosplay costumes.
Cosplay competition is always the most wonderful event for cosplayers and even for all anime fans. It is the most interesting event of the convention. Contestants may get awards for their outstanding cosplay costumes. The awards may consist of Best in Show, Best Master, Best Journeyman, Best Novice, Best Youth, and Merit Awards.
