The Awkward Thing Met by My Younger Brother

The story tells that my brother met an awkward thing because of his cosplay costumes.

I have a younger brother who loves cosplaying very much. He especially loves Naruto cosplay. He believes that he is just like Uzumaki Naruto. He said one day, “I am a hero but no one recognizes me. I am lonely like Uzumaki Naruto.” Poor boy, he is fascinated by the plot.

Several days ago, he attended an anime convention named Summer Matsuri taken place at Highlander Inn Conference Center, Manchester, NH. He wanted to buy his cosplay costumes, but my mother didn’t permit him and didn’t give him money because she believed it was a sort of wasting to buy the costumes that could not be worn in normal days. My little brother was very sad and angrily said, “Why do you always ignore my spiritual life?” But my mother could not stop him. He sewed the cosplay costumes himself. He happily went to the convention and expected that others would admire him.

But when he returned from the convention, he looked quite sad. I asked, “You seem not happy. Why?” He said, “When a girl came to me and wanted to have a picture taken with me. The cloth in my hips broke. I mean the seam opened. And I scared the girl away. I felt very awkward. It destroyed my day. I had not sewed cosplay costumes before. I did not know the cloth would break. Oh! My God!” I answered with “Ha Ha! It seems you are not a qualified tailor.”

I believe my little brother dare not sew cosplay costumes by himself any longer.
