A Story about Cross-Stitch – Another Cinderella Tale in the World.

It was said that in a farm, there was a beautiful girl whose name was Jessica and the famous cross-Stitch was just invented by her. She was a worker and the mean farm owner arranged much work for her. But Jessica was always happy and could find pleasant things.

One, after she finished weaving the fence for those hens and cocks, she sat under a tree. From a far distance, she found that the fence was a real picture. She was so happy and decided to continue weaving other patterns.
She found some silk and the animals’ skin to represent the fence materials. This was just the first cross-stitch.

But the farm owner hated that the girl weaved things and believed that it wasted too much time of working. He then threw all cross-stitch into the mountain.

One day, the prince went to the mountain for hunting. He found the cross-stitch and was deeply moved by the beauty. He then sent the guards to find the person who made it and prepared to bring the person to the palace and make cross-stitch. When the guards asked the farm owner, he said the cross-stitch was made by her daughter. Of course, the prince would not be cheated and let the daughter make it on the spot. She failed.

At the time, Jessica sang a song that was so pleasant to ears. The prince heard the song and was deeply moved by the beautiful sound. He found the girl and saw that there was a piece of cross-stitch tied on her head. The prince was touched by the beauty of Jessica and understood all things.

Later, Jessica went to the palace with the prince and became the queen.
