Katie Holmes has been a fashion star for her good taste about dressing. She likes all best dresses and even has cooperated with her image designer to create a clothing brand. But on September 30, on a women’s party at Beverly Hills, she failed to wear properly and her dressing was badly criticized.
On the day, she wore aflowery cocktail dressmatching a pair of black silk stockings and a thin black waist band.
The flowery cocktail dress belongs to a famous brand. But it was not her cocktail dress that destroyed her appearance,
but her matching, her wrongly matching.
The fashion writer Phillip Bloch criticized that so bad her choice was and the upper part of her body seemed to be separate from the lower part by the wrongly matching between the flowery cocktail dress and the black stockings. Someone even said that the cocktail dress looked like the one that came from her four years old daughter’s wardrobe.
Then how to make up for it? Phillip Bloch said that she should change for a broader waist band and should not tie the band so tight.
Katie Holmes admitted that the cocktail dress and the total match indeed were her daughter’s choice and said that if she did not agree to her daughter’s opinion about what to dress, the little girl would not let her go.
