Aki Con is what you are expecting as an anime convention for anime, sci-fi, manga, and cosplay costumes fans. The duration is from November 5 to November 7, 2010 and the venue is Hilton Bellevue, Bellevue, WA.

The events include Live Demonstrations, Gaming, Dealers Hall, Panels, Anime Viewing Room, Artist Alley, Photo Booth and Cosplay Group Meet-ups, Dances and many contests including Cosplay Showdown, Dance Contest, Weapon Contest, Fanart Contest, Otaku Dance Crew Contest, 2010 Miss/MR Aki Con Pageant, etc..


The cosplay relevant events have been loved by most people. Photo Booth and Cosplay Group Meet-ups enable you to meet fellow cosplayers and have an eye feast of amazing pictures about cosplay in which the persons wear the great cosplay costumes. Cosplay Showdown invite you to put on your best cosplay costumes and perform your cosplay skit for 5 minutes or less on stage. Cosplay Fashion Show welcome you to walk on stage and show off your wonderful cosplay costumes. The most special is Cosplay Weapon Contest. You have an opportunity to showcase your amazing weapons made by yourself. But be sure not to bring dangerous weapons, such as chemical weapons or real guns.
